Cycling skills workshops

From practical skills for riding more safely in traffic, to bike maintenance and bike commuting advice, these workshops are of real value to beginner cyclists as well as experienced riders.

Our most popular format is the lunchtime session, which allows your employees to attend interesting, lively and very useful training over their lunch break. (This can be held at any time of the day or evening to suit your staff’s schedule, subject to instructor availability.)

All workshops are tailored to the skill and experience level of the participants.

Workshops available include the following:

  • 'Traffic Safety & Ease'
    Practical and readily-applied traffic skills for cyclists, teaching where to ride on the road, how and why. You’ll find out how to develop a confident, non-confrontational attitude in traffic.
  • 'Commuting Tips'
    From how to configure your bike, to what to wear, how to choose your route, and what to do with your hair and your clothes when you arrive—here are the answers to many questions asked by beginner as well as experienced cyclists.
  • 'Bike Maintenance'
    Learn how to keep your bike in top working order, no rocket science needed. Repairing flats, adjusting brakes and shifters, cable replacement, lubrication and more. This workshop helps take the mystery out of how your bike works.

Taught by an internationally certified cycling instructor, these sessions share with you a wealth of techniques taught in cycling courses throughout North America.

Workshops are affordably priced and we offer a full promotional package to help ensure they are well attended and effective.

Length: 1 to 1.5 hours
Cost: $225 per workshop, per group (up to 25 participants) in the Austin, TX area. Workshops are available outside of the Austin area for an additional fee. Please contact us for details.
