We are a North American organization of certified cycling instructors, instructor trainers, and traffic safety specialists.
What we do.
Our team is dedicated to working with cyclists and aspiring cyclists to increase their safety and comfort on our roadways and multi-use paths. This involves teaching and promoting safe cycling practices, including traffic skills and effective bike handling skills.
We work with organizations around North America to provide and shape education for cyclists, as well as for motorists and other road users to foster safe interactions with cyclists.
The Center for Cycling Education is actively involved in the development and delivery of:
- cycling education materials;
- cycling courses and workshops;
- training and support for cycling instructors and course coordinators.
All instructors who lead our courses and develop our educational materials and programs are certified League Cycling Instructors (USA) or CAN-BIKE Instructors (Canada).
